We produce pressure bursting discs Comat. These pressure bursting discs are designed to protect pressure vessels, chemical reactors, pipelines, and similar pressure elements as a protection system against overpressure or underpressure.
Bursting discs Comat have been developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic since 1991. We continually upgrade and modify these bursting discs for new customer needs. At present, we have a set bursting discs Comat of Hastelloy alloy (nickel – chromium – molybdenum) in portfolio for use in highly aggressive, oxidative and chemical environments of technology units.
Function of pressure bursting discs Comat
Membrane fuses ensure overpressure and underpressure. They are designed to protect pressure systems. It can be used as a safety valve supplement to provide absolute leakage of the pressure systems. If necessary, the fuse is supplemented with a vacuum restraint, ie an element to prevent overturning and damage to membrene.
Comat membranes bursting discs are designed so that membrane inside them is broken if the pressure differential on membrane exceeds the prescribed value at the specified temperature.
Types of bursting discs Comat
- COMAT A – membrane pressure bursting disc with retaining ring
- COMAT B – membrane pressure bursting disc with two rings
- COMAT X – membrane pressure bursting disc with rings and tip
Outside of the above types, we also supply special version pressure bursting discs, according to the specific requirements of the customer.
